A Must-Stop on the Way South, this small Community Reserve, nestled right beside the road on the way to Southern Madagascar, is simply unmissable. It’s one of the best places to spot Ring-tailed Lemurs – and maybe even meet a real-life “King Julian”! The reserve is also home to Reptiles, Birds, and unique vegetation. What makes Anja even more special is its community-based management: The park is run by a local villagers’ association; and all proceeds go directly to support the surrounding community.
